Email campaign

Ok I need some feedback/participation on a project I’m about to start. I’ve been working on it for a few months. I want to start an investment network/ many other things. I want to make sure its safe for the investors. I’ve come up with several concepts to make it work. I’m a website marketer. I see so many sites online up for sale that people can’t buy on their on. I think if we get a few (100 or so) people to invest money but also partake in the business this could work. That is only if the investor wants to. With my expertise in marketing and the combined efforts of all the investors this can be an enormous venture that flourishes.
I think the key to getting people to invest is making sure they want loose or be scammed out of their money. On the other hand a little off topic, there is the auto surf market. (This is just to prove a point) The autosuf industry is still going very strong. People invest thousand of dollars in the market. They never know what can happen to their money. Yet they continue to invest. There are many incidences where the owner runs off with everyone’s money and nothing can be done. For those of you who don’t know what the auto surf market is here is an example. You get paid 12% for 12days. In the end that’s 144% return 44% profit. So if you invest $1000 you get 1444 back in like 18-20days because of processing time. Everyone knows it will crash. They don’t know when it will. I don’t recommend this industry, because it’s very risky. The point I’m trying to make is there should be enough people out there that can actually invest in something that there is almost a 0% chance of loosing money and a 100% chance of gaining.
I’m not going to ask anyone for any money up front. I think we should build a base of people willing to invest first. Then we all can decide what to invest in. With me leading the process. The opportunities to pursue are endless.

I have tons more information on this. I’ve already gotten a few friends ready to go.

I was at a business meeting and we were joined by employees from our sister company. I was called in as the lead marketer to give a talk on our ideas and where we need to progress in marketing terms. There was this hot blonde sitting in front of me. She was staring all the time at me, then on our lunch break out of no where came over and started to talk to me, all friendly and stuff, this was about for 5 minutes. Me personally, i thought the signs were all there, that there was a clear attraction and i felt the same way too. The problem is, these meetings are very random and they call up different people from our sister company so there is a chance i will never see her again. From the spurr of the moment, in silence, i gave her my contact details secretly while the main co exec was giving his talks. As i had to leave after that, i couldn’t tell her anything so i basically given her me contact details and left without saying anything. Her body language once i gave her my details got her all tense and she didn’t look at me after that. The worst thing is, i found out that i may have to see her again for another meeting. I wish i could of asked her properly but we are in a professional enviroment where you can’t talk because its a full blown, serious meeting.

I think i have 4 options

1) I don’t turn up, make some excuse that im ill.

2) see if she uses my contact details to contact me (which i am having doubts about)–also how long would a girl usually take???

3) go in as if nothing happened that day and just ignore her

4) make some excuse up that i was not meant to give her my email address.

The problem is, i am really shy with girls and it is why i kept it ananonymouss i didn’t want anyone to find out but i think she might of told her friend which i am really worried about.

Thanx for your response, I think i better give you info about the girl, she seems very shy and the impression i am getting is that she is very reserved and not a loud, foward kind of girl. Thats the dilema i am having. If she was a loud girl then it would make things so much easier!

I find it impossible to do the following in Excel.

I have a list of items as follows:

I would like to leave only those items in the list that are listed more than once. So the desired end result would be:

A
A
C
C

From this list, I could then easily delete the duplicates, which would leave:
A
C

Background: I have three lists with email addresses from an email marketing campaign. List 1 contains addresses that bounced in Month 1, List 1 in Month 2, and List 3 in Month 3. I merged the three lists, and I would like a final list that contains addresses that bounced in at least two of the three months. I will then delete these addresses from our database.

Example:
Cstint (name changed) asked for opinions on a statement she alleged was made by her mother in-law. I offered my honest thoughts. She didn’t like it and began a childish jr high **** email campaign (basically just emailing profanity to me). Why would the opinion of a total nameless stranger mean so much to a person they would do something like that? Are they bored? Insecure? Hateful? Drama queens? Are there people who really do live no where else but online? Is it healthy (even if they don’t have healthy relationships in the real world)?

I have been recieving vicious, discusting emails from Leanne M for months now, I have kept copies of these.I know that i can opt out of recieving these emails, but i dont want to because i get some beautifull ones from other users… Ineed to draw their attention to the vulgarity of this woman, because i am sure if they could see the truth they would kick her off permanatley. So how do i send them an email with these feral emails attached?

Back ground – I have recently joined the yahoo community. I am a business consultant as well as an internet marketer. So mostly I check out the questions in the small business category and answer those where I can offer some help.

Issue – On one hand, I have been receiving many ‘best answers’ on the other, i am receiving a spate of violation messages from yahoo. As far as I know, I do not violate any terms. I do not even mention my website. I leave my email id for those interested in more info about what I have written.

If some of you have read my answers where I have mentioned the features / given a snapshot of my business, please let me know where I went wrong. I wrote to yahoo and they said they do not divulge reasons for withdrawal of an answer.

Secondly, do you think there may be someone (another user, seeing that I am getting many best answers and who may not want my business to be popular) would be doing this on purpose? If so, it defeats the very purpose of this forum
If this is the case, I would be very discouraged and disappointed! I am honestly open to constructive criticism… point out if you think I went wrong somewhere and I will certainly change the way I write. Looking for inputs esp since the yahoo team didn’t have answers for me. Thanks in advance for those who will take the time to answer this! Cheers!
