I had an email sent to me by a friend that talked about how the Socialistic Regime that’s about to take control is going to polarize America so much so that America will be unable to recover from all the bad effects on both a political and spiritual level.

It was a smear tactic, but what blows my mind is how so many people actually do not think this stuff though? Socialism is not a bad word. Countries such as France, Germany, and even Canada practice it that has not ended their world. Some could argue on various economic models, but these Evangelicals are not making that argument, instead they are speaking about socialism fears with spirituality. They are saying that should Obama become President, we will wake up tomorrow and become a Socialist State (that probably conjures images of Cold War Soviet Union), although we have been a “Welfare State” since FDR’s New Deal, if you consider Social Security, and the Work Programs. That’s not socialism, nah, that is something else?–NOT. Then the granddaddy socialism by George W, who is bringing our largest defunct banks and insurance companies to be owned by the government (whoops, I meant to say Taxpayers). This does not baffling these evangelicals, instead, they focus on this new cold war threat from Obama. It’s a level of ignorance that is mind boggling, even to drunken third graders who found their teacher’s liquor cabinet.

Do these half-baked tactics bother you. I am not even supporting Obama, but I am beginning to understand what he is talking about, from these little emails that are completely not true. I am totally for bashing Obama, but bash with truths, not a bunch of made up crap that is all ready breaking the 10 Commandments, coming from Christians who see themselves as walking with the righteous. It’s really sick and disturbing.

Does this bother you?
